CLASSROOM
McMinnville Caterpillar

Our Caterpillar (Infant) classroom is designed for children aged six weeks to two and a half years, with a child-to-caregiver ratio of five to one, ensuring personalized attention and care. The lead teacher focuses on fostering your child’s growth through key developmental areas, including early language skills (such as babbling), fine motor development (grasping and finger strength), and physical milestones (crawling, walking, and more).
We have affectionately nicknamed this room the “John Deere” class. The space is thoughtfully divided into engaging learning centers where infants can explore, discover, and grow. To support exploration and safety, cozy and soft areas are spread throughout the room.
For immobile infants, teachers ensure they can interact with various learning centers and toys by gently moving them throughout the environment. The classroom is equipped with diverse, stimulating materials positioned at low heights, making them easily accessible. Any materials that could pose a risk—such as paint or sharp objects—are securely stored out of reach, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
