CLASSROOM
Morrison Tadpoles

Our Tadpole (infant) classroom is for children ages six weeks to two and a half years. The ratio in our infant room is five children to one adult. In this classroom, the lead teacher focuses on teaching your child skills such as early language skills (babbling), fine motor skills (grasping and finger strength, and physical skills(crawling, walking, etc.) to name a few. We have dotingly nicknamed this room the “John Deere” class. We have the room separated into learning centers for the infants to explore.
There are many cozy and soft spots around to keep them as safe as possible. If your infant is immobile the teacher will move the child around the learning centers so they can utilize all of the toys available. We make sure to have diverse materials all throughout the classroom for the infants. Most of our materials are low to the ground, so the children can access them without assistance. (this excludes paint, pencils, anything they can hurt themselves with).
